I saved ~$800 on a new MacBook Pro M4 Max, due to tax-free orders outside of California, cheap shipping, lower-than-average prices, sitewide sale, & new customer discounts.
I was initially concerned that I had purchased the correct item because there were some mistakes in the description, but they have a phone number & I was able to get a pretty quick reply to confirm it was the correct item.
The item I purchased is hard to find due to custom upgrades like the anti-glare nano screen texturing, upgraded RAM, space black color, etc. The exact combination of upgrades is rare, and you typically pay a lot extra if you can find it. Even ordering directly from Apple with the nano texturing, delays receiving your laptop by 1 to 2 weeks.
I found the last one in stock at MacPro-LA, and received it within a couple days.
After receiving it, I was initially concerned because it had a user account locked with a password, but again, over text they answered quickly, gave me the password, and apologized that it was used to verify the system info & ensure everything is working. It was just unusual because it was being sold as "new in box".
It was advertised as being Apple Care eligible, but the record said it had been purchased 2.5 months prior, so it wouldn't let me automatically sign up. However, I was able to go to the Apple store & they quickly signed me up in person in spite of this.
All in all, in spite of the issues, it was worth it due to the huge price savings, & I'm very grateful they have a phone number & actually answer, & help solve your problems.

They really came to my rescue yesterday. I spilled coffee on my computer in the morning, and some of the keys stopped working. I was unable to get into my computer. I called them and they said they could fix it. I had my computer checked, fixed, and was back to my writing within a couple of hours. The people who work here are friendly, efficient, and true heroes.

Ordered a 2023 8gb memory 256gb ssd Mac mini to use for school. It was still new in box and I got an amazing deal. They sent it out so fast and I use it daily since the day I got it and it came with a 1yr warranty which is amazing and I added AppleCare to it and a 2tb ssd external hdd. It’s perfect. excellent condition open box; only showed 8 battery cycles. By buying a previous gen model, I got considerably more memory and processing/graphocs cores for the same price, which should serve me well for years to come.
The Mac Pro part of the experience was excellent. Shipping was very fast and the IPad pro appears to be as advertised; like new and well packaged. The only frustration was with UPS, who sent several messages with a four hour delivery time with a signature required, I planned my day to be there and they came two hours early so I missed them. Because I was leaving town the next day. I had to pay UPS extra to leave the package at a UPS store to pick up a week later.
